Instructions to put your file in my Hand In Folder

From a Mac OS X system:

  1. You must log onto the FAMS Server
  2. Click GO in the Menu Bar => Connect to Server
  3. Type the name of the server that you are trying to access.
  4. TYPE FAMS and click Connect
  5. Enter your user name and password
  6. Click Faculty => OK
  7. Find my folder and double click to open it
  8. Open the Hand In folder
  9. Drag your file into the folder for your period:

From a Microsoft Windows system:

  1. Open Internet Explorer
  2. Type the following “ftp://(username):(password)@(server).franklinlakes.k12.nj.us
  3. Substitute (username) with your short username
  4. Substitute (password) with your password
  5. Substitute (server) with the name of the server that you are trying to connect to. ex – FAMS
  6. Copy file into the folder for your period
